Maintenance Mechanic,

The Maintenance Mechanic (H) constructs, maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, machinery, and components to maintain the physical assets of the institution in good working order.

• Greases, lubricates, and replaces filters in air and hydraulic systems.
• Performs inspections and repairs of equipment, and completes scheduled maintenance.
• Diagnoses problems and makes adjustments or reports situation to proper managing staff.
• Prepares and maintains records and reports.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders.
• Orders necessary parts and equipment from vendors and suppliers.
• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
