We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community team. This role is vital to maintaining the property’s curb appeal, safety, and functionality. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with general repairs, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on apartments, amenities, and common areas
- Respond promptly to service requests and complete work orders efficiently and professionally
- Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances
- Prepare vacant units for new residents, including painting, repairs, and cleaning
- Ensure the property grounds and facilities remain clean, safe, and well‑maintained
- Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergencies
- Maintain maintenance logs and reports for all completed work
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred
- 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in a residential or multi‑family setting
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent troubleshooting and time‑management skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and kneeling
