Carpentry and Building Maintenance Associate

Location: Negaunee

Our client, a leading property management and industrial development organization, is seeking a Carpentry and Building Maintenance Associate to join their team. As a Carpentry and Building Maintenance Associate, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting property upkeep and building maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $18 to $25

** Shift:
** 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform routine and preventative maintenance to keep facilities in optimal condition

+ Assist with carpentry tasks such as framing, drywall installation, sanding, and painting

+ Conduct roof inspections and maintenance to ensure structural integrity

+ Support plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems troubleshooting and repairs

+ Maintain accurate records of work performed and assist with other maintenance tasks as needed

** What's Needed?*
* + Experience in carpentry and building maintenance

+ Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently

+ Strong organizational skills for record-keeping and planning

+ Valid Driver's License/Chauffeur Driver's License (testing fee reimbursement available)

+ Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
