Schedule: Full‑time

Travel: Out‑of‑town travel required during busy season

Hard Work. Real Opportunity. No Shortcuts. DHT Group is hiring an Entry­-Level Laborer / Equipment Operator for our Reese, Michigan operation. This role focuses on physical labor, supporting the crew, and performing demanding work that keeps jobs moving forward.

• Digging trenches
• Using shovels, rakes, and hand tools
• Site cleanup and jobsite preparation
• Loading and unloading materials
• Working outdoors in heat, mud, dust, and changing weather
• Assisting experienced crew members on active jobsites

• CDL‑A preferred, but not required
• Heavy equipment training provided to suitable candidates

• Perform physical labor on active construction and site work jobs
• Assist crews with trenching, grading, and site preparation
• Operate hand tools safely and efficiently
• Learn equipment operation through hands‑on training
• Inspect and help maintain equipment daily
• Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations
• Work as part of a fast‑moving construction crew

• Show up on time and ready to work
• Comfortable with physically demanding work
• Willing to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Capable of handling long days during peak season
• Open to travel out of town when business demands it

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2+ years of experience working with heavy equipment
• Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment and safety standards
• Ability to maintain, inspect, clean, and occasionally repair pieces of heavy equipment
• Keen attention to detail and situational awareness to maintain the safety of the work environment
• Strong work ethic

• Demolition experience
• Excavating experience

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen
