Job DescriptionSeeking a skilled Electrician to add to our industrial team. This individual is responsible for performing electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting within an industrial manufacturing environment at a major aerospace facility. This role supports critical production equipment and facility systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations in a high-demand industrial setting.
Responsibilities- Perform electrical maintenance on industrial equipment, spending approximately 70–80% of time relocating, replacing, and maintaining machinery and systems.
- Support installation and construction activities by bringing in and setting up new equipment for facility expansions and new buildings.
- Install, run, and bend conduit for new and existing electrical systems in an industrial environment.
- Pull, terminate, and repair wiring and cabling for panels, switch gear, and other electrical components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan and execute installations and repairs accurately.
- Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, identifying root causes of malfunctions and implementing effective repairs.
- Perform panel wiring, switch gear work, and other industrial electrical tasks in accordance with applicable standards and best practices.
- Apply mechanical aptitude to assist with mechanical aspects of equipment relocation, installation, and maintenance.
Skills & Qualifications
- State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician Licensure or 8 years of documented experience.
- Proven experience with industrial troubleshooting, including diagnosing and repairing electrical issues on manufacturing equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude to support mechanical aspects of equipment installation and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with conduit installation, including bending and running conduit in industrial environments.
- Proficiency in wiring, cable installation, and pulling wire for industrial systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

WorkEnvironment
The position includes one hour of paid drive time to the shop and one hour of paid drive time home, resulting in 10 paid hours for 8 hours of on-site work. Work takes place at large industrial facilities in Whitehall, MI, performing maintenance and installation tasks in a climate-controlled, air-conditioned building. The environment is non-union and involves partnering with another industrial electrician, using tools such as voltmeters, conduit benders, and standard electrical and mechanical equipment to support manufacturing operations.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
