The Senior Electronics Smart Home Technician works directly with customers to apply the latest smart home technologies integrated into their home and lifestyle. Senior Electronics Smart Home technicians are responsible for installation and programming of electronic equipment for luxury clients and premier technology to make our customers say, "WOW!" They will also be a team leader on-site, overseeing projects and technicians.

• Install TVs, speakers, amplifiers, motorized shades, and networking equipment
• Read an audio/video blueprint, wiring drawings, and manuals
• Install smart home systems per manufacturer specifications and operational procedures
• Project a professional image of yourself and Bekins through significant exposure to the customer
• Teach clients how to use their smart home products
• Complete jobs to Bekins’ standards and provide excellent customer service
• Act as a team lead while on-site

• 3 years of Electronics Installation experience preferred
• Passion for the latest electronic products, systems, devices, and tools
• Experience in low voltage electronics preferred
• Enjoyment in helping the customer get the right product installed and programmed to their specifications and preferences
• Aptitude for detailed work
• Proficiency in setting up apps
• Thorough and consistent documentation of work performed on appropriate forms
• Proficient use of basic hand and power tools (prefer your own set of tools)
• Safe travel to worksites – maintain equipment, vehicles, and work areas clean and professional
• Experience managing projects or leading teams

• Experience with Lutron, Crestron, and Control 4 preferred
• Experience in lighting control systems, motorized shades/window treatments preferred
