Job Overview
Perform preventive maintenance and more complex repairs on vehicle fleets, including oil changes, filter replacements, transmission flushes, inspections for mechanical deficiencies, and advanced diagnostics.
Responsibilities- Change oil, oil filter, fuel filter, and perform transmission flushes.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical deficiencies and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Carry out advanced diagnostics and repairs of OBD II systems, brake components, tires, tune‑ups, suspension components, electrical systems, and other vehicle systems.
- Fabricate and repair vehicle equipment, including cable trailers and laptop docking stations.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop area.
- Adhere to safety standards and dispose of fluids in accordance with regulations.
- Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance records.
- Up‑fit new vehicles with necessary equipment as required.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic, generator, electrical, hybrid, and on‑board computer systems.
- Initiate and complete work proactively, without explicit instructions from supervisors.
- Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors or managers.
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
- Ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Quick learner, especially about how cars work.
- Team player who arrives ready to provide excellent work.
