Sr Utilities Mechanic
Oversee and monitor the operation of critical building systems including refrigeration, emergency backup systems, boilers, and related mechanical/electrical equipment. Analyze system operations, troubleshoot problems, perform preventive maintenance, and adjust equipment to ensure proper function.
Responsibilities- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repair work on site utility systems such as boilers, chillers, cooling towers, softeners, pumps, motors, valves, and all associated distribution systems.
- Maintain and repair air compressors, breathing air system, air handling units, and rooftop HVAC units.
- Conduct routine tests and inspections on support equipment, including water testing, chemical inventories, and brine level checks.
- Assist other mechanics and operators with major repairs and maintenance of building systems and equipment.
- Identify, utilize, and operate tools and equipment associated with mechanical systems while completing JHA and work permits.
- Document all work performed in the Computerized Maintenance Management System and communicate regularly with Supervisor and Chief Engineer.
- Order materials, maintain compliance with safety regulations, and ensure proper storage of hazardous materials.
- Experience with chilled water systems with tonnage greater than 500tons of cooling.
- Experience with steam boiler systems up to 9,500HP (32.5
MMBTU). - Experience with water boiler systems up to 1.8
MMBTU.

Work Shift:
Monday‑Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm with a weekly rotation every 7 weeks, including scheduled shifts from 7:00am to 7:00pm.
