Job DescriptionAs an Auto Body Technician, you will provide an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair of each vehicle, restoring it to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, working collaboratively with team members to meet repair facility KPIs and represent the Boyd Group as a dedicated brand ambassador.
Key Job Responsibilities- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
- Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
- Solve dents, dimples, and minor body damage; apply filler resins when required.
- Realign car chassis and frames to correct structural damage.
- Remove damaged sections and replace them with new or aftermarket parts, including glass and windshields.
- Replace or repair interior parts as needed.
- Weld and fit parts, then prepare and repaint vehicles with factory-specified or equivalent paint.
- Attempt to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and verify work with post-repair inspections.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a technical school program or a three‑year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
- Read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate effectively with other repairers in the shop.
- Understand methods and procedures for vehicle body repair.
- Proficiency in using required tools for the trade.
- Work safely in a noisy area with odors.
- Lift up to 30 pounds at times.
- Visually inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions.
- Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.

CompensationPay: $24.00 - $29.00/hour,
