Maintenance Mechanic (Fork Truck Focus)
Location:
Holly
Pay: $23 - $30/hour depending on experience non-union position
Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Are you a maintenance professional with hands-on experience repairing fork trucks and industrial equipment? We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic with a strong background in fork truck diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance to support daily manufacturing operations. Duties:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on fork trucks, including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and fuel systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on fork trucks to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to steering, braking, lifting mechanisms, and power systems.
- Review maintenance schedules and assignments with the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Perform general maintenance and repair work on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Complete bench jobs and other assigned maintenance tasks as needed.
- Report equipment issues requiring additional attention to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas after completing repairs.
- Follow all ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 5–10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven experience repairing and maintaining fork trucks is required.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
