Trillium Construction is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator near Falmouth, MI who has hands-on experience with multiple types of equipment, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, bulldozers, graders, water trucks, cranes, and dump trucks.
  • Perform site work including digging, grading, trenching, hauling, and material placement as directed by supervisors.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections (pre- and post-use) to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations at all times.
  • Work closely with crew members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Assist with general site preparation, cleanup, and other duties as needed to support project operations.

Pay:
Up to $32 Per Diem: $178 / day for all 7 days

Schedule:

Mon
- Sat, 60h / week

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency with equipment such as backhoes, dozers, graders, water trucks, and dump trucks.
  • Strong understanding of equipment safety practices and job site hazards.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
  • Experience with Caterpillar (CAT) and John Deere equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
