Northville, MI Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience) CDL Preferred | Benefits Eligible | Pool Company Vehicle Provided Join Our Team We are seeking an experienced Coax Splicer to support the installation, activation, maintenance, and repair of broadband telecommunications networks throughout the Northville, Michigan area. The ideal candidate will have experience with coaxial cable systems, signal testing, troubleshooting, and outside plant construction in both aerial and underground environments.

• Perform coax cable splicing, activation, maintenance, and repair.
• Install and maintain hardline coax, amplifiers, taps, splitters, and connectors.
• Troubleshoot signal loss, ingress, leakage, and service interruptions.
• Perform signal testing, balancing, and network performance verification.
• Read and interpret system maps, prints, and construction drawings.
• Complete network upgrades and preventative maintenance activities.
• Document completed work, as-builts, and field reports.
• Follow all company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Work closely with project managers, technicians, and network operations teams.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of coax splicing or telecommunications field experience.
• Experience working with aerial and/or underground coax networks.
• Ability to read telecom prints, maps, and construction documents.
• Experience using signal meters, leakage detectors, and test equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Preferred CDL license.
• Experience with Comcast, Spectrum, Cox, Altice, Mediacom, or other cable/MSO providers.
• Knowledge of network balancing, node segmentation, and plant maintenance.
• Experience working from bucket trucks and ladders.
• HFC and outside plant experience.

• $25.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience.
• Additional consideration for candidates with a CDL.
