HVAC & Plumbing Service Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC & Plumbing Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing systems for residential and/or commercial clients. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, customer‑focused, and committed to delivering high‑quality service.

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork
• Install and service plumbing systems such as water heaters, piping, fixtures, and drainage systems
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components of HVAC and plumbing systems
• Respond to service calls and provide timely, professional customer support
• Accurately document work performed, parts used, and service recommendations
• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition
• Educate customers on system operation, maintenance, and potential upgrades

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC and/or plumbing service (preferred)
• EPA Certification (for HVAC work) required or ability to obtain
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC equipment, and diagnostics tools
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and various weather conditions
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods

• Experience with both residential and commercial systems
• Certifications or licenses in HVAC and/or plumbing
• Experience with service software or mobile dispatch tools
