Location: Clarkston
A part-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school serving students in kindergarten through 2nd grade, located in Clarkston, MI. This contract role offers a collaborative environment to support young learners with speech and language development needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language assessments and therapeutic interventions to a caseload of 30-40 students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification (SLP - CCC or CFY preferred)
- Experience working in school settings, ideally with early elementary age groups
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining detailed documentation
- Location:
Clarkston, MI - School Level: Elementary (K-2)
- Schedule:
Part time, approximately 21 hours per week - Duration:
Starting ASAP through June 15, 2026, with potential to return in the fall - Contract Role
