A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Petersburg, MI. This contract position involves serving approximately 50 students on caseload, providing speech and language support within a school setting.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), including CCC or CFY credentials
• Experience working in schools preferred
• Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
• Ability to manage a caseload of around 50 students
• Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours

Location:

• Petersburg, Michigan school environment

Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student progress
• Utilize AAC devices effectively to enhance communication for students who require them
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
