Equalization Specialist
Status: Full Time CCIEA Union, 40 hours per week
Wages/Grade: Hourly range $22.36 - $25.71 (Grade 4, Step 1-5)
Assists with the processing of tax and assessment roles from the local governments. Serves as County liaison to local taxing jurisdictions to assure system compatibility of the county-wide system, provide necessary training and technical support, resolve problems, and maintain software system usage and integrity. Also gathers and enters data into various databases to aid in determining annual sales studies for each local unit of government.
Qualifications: Requirements include a valid driver’s license, an associate’s degree in business, computer information systems, or a related field, and two years of experience working in an equalization department, assessor’s office, title company, or a similar setting involving working knowledge of property legal descriptions.
Hourly pay range is $22.36 - $25.71 (annual equivalent $46,506 – $53,486).
