At Wellspring Lutheran Services, we're looking for a Family Preservation Supervisor who is passionate about supporting both families and the professionals who serve them.

As a Family Preservation Supervisor, you'll provide leadership, clinical guidance, and support to a team serving children and families in crisis. This position is a part of the Mi Families Together (MFT) program. You'll help ensure services are delivered with compassion, professionalism, and a strength-based approach while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and hope.

Most importantly, you'll help create positive outcomes for children and families by supporting the people working directly alongside them every day.

What Your Impact Will Look Like

You'll lead and develop a team of child welfare professionals who are helping families navigate some of life's most challenging circumstances.

You'll provide coaching, guidance, and clinical support that helps staff build confidence, strengthen skills, and deliver high-quality services to the families they serve.

You'll help ensure children and families receive timely, effective, and coordinated support by overseeing referrals, service delivery, documentation, and program outcomes.

You'll foster a strength-based culture that recognizes the resilience of families while encouraging staff to approach every situation with empathy, professionalism, and respect.

You'll celebrate victories with your team, help them navigate difficult situations, and provide leadership during moments when experience and guidance matter most.

You'll collaborate with community partners, service providers, schools, courts, and other agencies to help families access the resources and support they need to thrive.

Some days you'll be coaching a staff member through a challenging case, supporting a family experiencing a crisis, reviewing program outcomes, or collaborating with community partners. Other days you'll be mentoring newer professionals, facilitating team meetings, and helping shape the future direction of services within the program.

What You'll Bring

• Master’s degree in human services and at least one year of child welfare or family services experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in human services and at least four years of child welfare or family services experience (required).
• Minimum two years of experience working with children and families.
• Strong knowledge of child welfare practices, family systems, and community resources.
