• Valid Michigan School Social Worker license (LLMSW holders will also be considered)
• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
• Sound understanding of social-emotional learning, behavioral interventions, and crisis response
• Ability to work with diverse student populations and maintain confidentiality

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Partner with educators and administration to identify at-risk students and implement early intervention plans
• Liaise with families, teachers, and external agencies to coordinate support services and connect students with resources
• Develop and facilitate social skills and coping strategies programs
• Support IEP and 504 plan development and implementation when required
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory requirements
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support during critical incidents affecting the school community
