FORVIA - HELLA Electronics Corporation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Engineer – Lighting Electronics. The focus of this role will be to:

• Develop application‑level software and understand the underlying base software to ensure proper integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues arising during software implementation on company products.
• Perform debugging and identify root causes of software failures.
• Communicate root‑cause findings clearly to the organization and, when required, directly to customers.
• Analyze and optimize new and existing system/software architectures, documenting modifications and performing required internal/external reviews throughout the development process.
• Ensure adherence to defined technical standards, coordinating with other areas to align software development concepts and technological alternatives.

• 3+ years of experience conducting coding and debugging with C, ideally within embedded systems and utilizing automotive‑based SDLC.
• Bachelor’s Degree in software development or a related field.
• Experience in model‑based development (Matlab/Simulink) would be an advantage.
• Task planning experience and knowledge of AUTOSAR standard where possible.
