Robotics Technician | Mason, MI
Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Mason that are seeking Robotics Technicians. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Calibrate and troubleshoot robotic systems on the production floor.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial robots and their end-effectors.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new robotic equipment.
- Program and re-program robot paths and sequences for various manufacturing tasks.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize robot performance and improve manufacturing processes.
- Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial robotics maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in programming and operating robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
- Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for inspection and guidance.
- Familiarity with a variety of robot programming languages beyond the core teach pendant (e.g., Python, C++ for specific applications).
- PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) for integrated system control.
- Certification in a specific robotic platform (e.g., FANUC CERT, UR Academy).
- Experience with collaborative robots (cobots) and their safety implementation.
