Salary Range: $67,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Newaygo that are seeking PLC Programmers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC programs and control systems.
• Design and integrate HMI applications for improved operator interface.
• Configure and commission industrial networks and communication protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on PLC hardware and software.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens).
• Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, and other PLC programming languages.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, HMI development, and SCADA systems.
• Experience with VFDs, servo drives, and industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, PROFINET).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with HMI/SCADA system design and programming.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and their application in industrial control systems.
• Experience with robotic integration and programming.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
