Role OverviewWe are seeking an Embedded Software & Perception Systems Engineer to drive the development, sensor pipeline integration, and validation of our next-generation ADAS solutions. In this role, you will bridge embedded firmware design, multi-sensor data processing (Radar, Camera, Ultrasonic), and Tier-1 automotive compliance (ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434).
Key Responsibilities- System & Perception Software Development:
- Design, implement, and debug safety-critical embedded software in C/C++ on RTOS and automotive SoC platforms.
- Develop low-level drivers and data ingestion pipelines for automotive perception sensors ( mmWAVE Radar, Camera/CIS, Ultrasonic ).
- Implement and optimize sensor data processing, calibration routines, and multi-sensor fusion algorithms (e.g., Radar-Camera object tracking and signal processing).
- Integrate and configure vehicle communication networks ( CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet ).
- Build and configure Device Under Test (DUT) hardware/firmware setups and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) test rigs for lab demos and vehicle integration.
- Validation & Testing:
- Validate sensor performance and software logic via theoretical modeling, simulation environments (e.g., CARLA/Simulink), and real-vehicle road testing.
- Execute and support Design Validation (DV) and Product Validation (PV) testing cycles.
- Perform root-cause failure analysis and debugging across both development and production phases.
- Compliance, Standards & Patents:
- Produce technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and test documentation adhering to ASPICE, ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) , and ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity) .
- Track global automotive regulations, NCAP roadmaps, and OEM requirements; contribute to company patent disclosures.
- Technical Support &
Collaboration: - Deliver on-site and remote technical support to automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and internal cross-functional teams.
- Support technology transfer and internal engineering training.
- Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or 5+ years of equivalent hands-on automotive embedded systems experience. - Core Technical
Skills: - Strong proficiency in C/C++ for real-time embedded platforms.
