Home of the Meijer LPGA Classic, Blythe field has stood the test of time as a venerable Club in West Michigan. Founded in 1928, Blythe field has hosted national level tournaments with participation by many of the greatest names in golf including Walter Hagan, Gary Player, Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, and more recently Ricky Fowler, Lexi Thompson, Brooke Henderson, Nelly Korda, Jennifer Kupcho, Leona Maguire and all the LPGA Stars!

The Club completed a $3.4 million golf course renovation in 2021 cementing its position as the premier golf course in West Michigan and beyond! The renovation is highlighted by the rebuilding of all tees, both lengthening and shortening the options for players of all levels, new bunkering with the Better Billy Bunker system, expansion and drainage of all greens, a new practice putting green as well as a new short game area.

Along with the championship course, Blythe field offers swimming, tennis, fitness, event spaces for groups up to 300. The Club completed a clubhouse renovation in 2023.

Blythe field Country Club is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a passion for customer service. Candidates should be able to work various shifts to include weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player with passion for the golf industry. Previous experience in a country club or golf club setting is desired but not required.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Able to work in a high-paced, upscale private facility and have the ability to think on their feet while providing exceptional customer service
• Recognition skills to remember member names and preferences
• Requires a valid driver's license
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Position requires significant walking, lifting, bending, and standing
• Prior experience in golf operations is preferred but not required
• Computer Literate
• Advanced organizational and communication skills

• Opening and Closing Procedures
• Welcoming members and guests with enthusiasm
• Ensure all areas of the outside operation is clean and organized
• Provide direction or assistance to any club member or guest when needed
• Have knowledge of club events and information to communicate to members
• Monitor time and enforce pace of play policies
• Communicate all issues to The Professional Staff
• Work with The Professional Staff on tracking Pace of Play
• Inform supervisor of safety concerns, supplies needed, and repairs needed
• Ability and willingness to present professionalism
• Take accurate daily records
• Take pride and ownership of Cart Staging Area
• Assist in outing set up as needed
• Other duties willingly performed as assigned

This is an hourly compensation position, where candidates for this position must possess exceptional communication and time management skills. Normal work schedule is usually 2-3 days per week. Positions are available for candidates to work 8 to 40 hours per week depending on candidates desires.
