Class A Truck Driver

Trillium Drivers is now seeking CDL Class A Delivery Drivers in Grand Rapids, MI for a temp-to-hire opportunity!

Pay rate is $27.00 - $28.00 per hour with OT after 40 hours. Join a team where your driving expertise is valued and your time at home matters. Our CDL Class A Drivers are the backbone of our operation serving as the face of our company while delivering and retrieving trailers for our valued local customers.

This is a local driving position, allowing you to be home every night, with consistent routes and a supportive, safety-first culture. You'll play a key role in ensuring timely and professional deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and service.

Schedule:

Approximately 50 hours per week. This is 1st shift, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 2nd shift 3:30 PM - 12:30 AM. Flexibility required based on delivery needs.

What You'll Do
-Safely operate a Class A semi-tractor trailer to transport palletized goods to customer locations.
-Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance.
-Properly secure loads using straps and other equipment to prevent shifting during transit.
-Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules, adapting to traffic, weather, and logistical updates.
-Maintain accurate logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation.
-Communicate proactively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
-Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
-Assist with loading and unloading as needed while ensuring product integrity.
-Promptly report mechanical issues, incidents, or safety concerns.
-Keep your assigned vehicle clean, organized, and inspection-ready.

What We're Looking For
-Valid CDL Class A license
-2+ years of CDL-A driving experience
-Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
-Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
-Solid understanding of DOT regulations and compliance standards
-Comfortable operating commercial vehicles in varying conditions
-Strong communication and teamwork skills
-High attention to detail and accountability
-Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional nights or weekends

- Experience with Cyntrx is a plus
-Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally
