- Pay is $16/hour
- Shift: Monday - Friday
- Dispatch between 5am - 7am
The Driver Helper rides with and assists Drivers in the tractor trailer, tandem trailer and/or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading various products in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
- Assists the Driver in the safe and accurate delivery of products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Loads and unloads truck and/or company vehicles.
- Places products in areas identified by customers.
- Completes required documentation in a timely manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and/or 1-3 years of related experience.
- Intermediate computer knowledge and ability to learn/use computer programs on the job.
- Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position: up to 30 lbs. regularly, up to 65 lbs.
- Physical ability to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, or crawl.
- Ability to work in an environment which will expose the incumbent to a variety of noise and potential extremes in temperature.
- 1+ years food service distribution industry experience.
- Onboard computer and electronic log system experience (i.e., People Net).
- Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience (i.e., POD).
- Customer service-related work experience.
