Tri Area Trucking School/Ross Education Holdings, Inc.'s locations are non-profit secondary education centers working to provide all students with the tools to become much needed industry professionals.

• New programs start every few weeks
• Session is 2 weeks pre trip, maneuvers, and driving - "classroom" is outside on the lot and in a truck
• Year round position
• No lesson plans to write just follow the program already in place
• We are open to part time and full time applicants - please let us know your availability, classes run year round M-F 8-4:30. (80-160 hours a month.)

Requirements :

• 2 years or more of recent truck driving experience
• Valid CDL A - no restrictions Driver's License
• Current CDL DOT Medical Wallet Card
• Must be able to obtain a state of Michigan Driving Instructor License
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors, in all weather, with extended periods of time standing and sitting
• Must be able to get in and out of Semi-Tractor/Trailers and perform all driving related duties
• Must have patience, flexibility and a willingness to learn

• Ability to use current technology to maintain student records
• Ability to communicate effectively in classroom and individual settings
• Knowledge of materials (subjects) that will be taught to students and ability to use and communicate Ross curriculum
• Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced work environment
• Ability to achieve or maintain credential and/or licensure within expected time frames
• Demonstrates professionalism in manner, dress and conduct as a representative of Ross and a student mentor
• Ability to remain objective and treat all students equally
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics
• Perform related work as required
