Fed Ex - - Responsibilities:
Move trailers to and from unload/load doors and around the yard;
Assist with loading, unloading, and sorting of packages by hand as needed;
Perform trailer switches by hooking/moving trailers between yard and doors;
Communicate with management/central control to coordinate yard movements;
Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards;
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment
