Earning Potential

$0.55–$0.62 CPM (Based on Experience)

What You’ll Do
  • Haul regional OTR flatbed freight throughout the eastern United States
  • Safely tarp, chain, strap, and secure loads
  • Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate logs and shipping documentation
  • Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
  • Operate safely while complying with DOT regulations
  • Protect every load as if it were your own
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Verifiable Flatbed Driving Experience
  • Experience with tarping, chaining, and load securement

    Strong safety record
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • B-Train experience preferred
  • Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
  • Professional attitude with dependable attendance

Requirements
  • CDLA
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Minimum of 1 year of verifiable semi‑truck driving experience
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of verifiable flat‑bed semi‑truck driving experience – B train experience preferred
  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • Ability to pass drug screen
  • Ability to physically perform job; including bending, lifting, reaching, climbing, folding/unfolding, throwing, and securing 4- and 8‑feet tarps, handle and deploy straps, chains and cables
  • Ability and willingness to work in inclement and changing weather conditions
  • OTR availability (typically 5 days out and 2 days in schedule. Candidate would have the option to stay out longer)
  • Verifiable Experience chaining, strapping, tarping loads, including coiled steel
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission and experience doing so
Preferred Requirements
  • TWIC card
  • Ability to go to Canada
  • X endorsement
  • Hazmat cargo experience
