GFL Environmental - - Responsibilities:
Operate tractor-trailer truck on assigned route to collect solid waste and/or recyclables on a specified collection route;
Ensure that all hazardous waste manifests and shipping papers are complete, accurate, and signed as required by DOT regulations;
Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports, daily truck report, route sheets and other documentation requested by supervisor;
Maintain vehicle placards on all four sides to communicate hazards of the load to other drivers and emergency responders;
Maintain accurate records of services performed and comply with safety standards and company policies
