Truck Driver CDL A

Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Clare, MI. This role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Compensation: $1350 + pay weekly
• Hourly Pay: $28.41 per hour
• Tenure Bonus: $1200 (paid quarterly)
• Paid Training
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday or Sunday – Thursday
• Hours per week: 40 or more

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load and unload freight, or assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide an appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months of experience within the past three years,
    OR
  • 2 years of experience within the last five years,
    OR
  • 5 years of experience within the last ten years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days.
• 80 hours PTO your first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it).
