Performance Food Group - - Responsibilities:
Drives tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight routes to deliver and unload food and related products;
Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers and answers questions accurately and timely;
Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations;
Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight and completes required paperwork accurately;
Obtains customer signatures and, when required, collects payments and handles returns and damaged goods
