Job DescriptionGeneral
Summary:
Performs essential warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping activities. Responsibilities include inventory management, order fulfillment, material handling equipment operation, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Order Fulfillment & Packaging
- Picks stock from inventory locations accurately according to order specifications and pick lists
- Packages products securely using appropriate materials and methods
- Inspects packages for quality and completeness before shipment
- Applies proper routing information and shipping labels to all outbound packages
- Completes carrier-supplied documentation accurately for all shipments
Inventory Management
- Performs cycle counting activities to maintain inventory accuracy
- Conducts stock replenishment by moving products to pick locations
- Maintains proper storage organization to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Reports inventory discrepancies and damaged goods to supervisor
Warehouse Operations & Safety
- Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations
- Maintains work area in a clean, organized, and hazard-free condition
- Follows all safety procedures and protocols to prevent workplace injuries
- Adheres to written and oral instructions regarding daily tasks and job assignments
Supplemental Job Functions
- Participates in cross-functional training within the warehouse to develop versatile skills
- Assists with corporate on-boarding and orientation programs as required
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested to support warehouse operations
Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
Required
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous work experience
- Previous experience working on a computer
