Warehouse Associate – Distribution Services
Location:
United States, Amerisource Bergen business.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00am to finish. 4×10 hour shifts.
Rate: $21.50 per hour.
Responsibilities- Receive, pick, and stage customer orders, returns, shipping, and inventory organization.
- Verify merchandise received against shipment records, inspect and report discrepancies and defects.
- Stock shelves and maintain designated storage areas.
- Use a radio‑frequency device for picking or packing stock and other inventory tasks.
- Assemble customer orders by pulling items from shelves and placing them in totes for packing and shipping.
- Identify quantities and customer specifications.
- Enter orders, returns and related data into the computer system.
- Inspect returned items and restock merchandise in the warehouse.
- Complete daily inventory counts accurately and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory procedures as requested.
- Perform controlled substance picking, stocking, replenishment, and order fulfillment in a cage/vault or refrigerated environment when required.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other motorized equipment to move inventory.
- Assist in training new associates.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Work ExperienceAt least one year of warehouse experience.
Basic computer knowledge preferred.
Good overall understanding of distribution center workflow and ability to work with minimal guidance.
Skills and Knowledge- Read and understand English language, product descriptions, shelf labels.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean work area to ensure merchandise remains clean and prevent injuries.
- Use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions.
- Work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
- Team player with effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Certification to operate power equipment (reach trucks, picker machines, forklifts) at high levels (20–40ft) and comply with safety standards and OSHA requirements.
- Hazmat training certification may be required.
- Maintain attendance standards.
- Ability to train and assist associates as needed.
