Job Title: Warehouse Associate – Verita Telecommunications Job Summary:The Warehouse Associate at Verita Telecommunications supports daily warehouse operations by managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of telecommunications materials and equipment. This role plays a key part in ensuring technicians and project teams have the tools and inventory needed to successfully complete installs and service work.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries of telecom equipment including fiber optic cables, routers, switches, and hardware
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for field technicians and project deployments
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
- Organize and store materials to ensure efficient retrieval and safe handling
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) as needed
- Ensure compliance with Verita safety standards and warehouse procedures
- Keep warehouse clean, organized, and operationally efficient
- Work closely with operations, purchasing, and field teams to meet project timelines
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of warehouse experience (telecom or construction preferred)
- Familiarity with telecom materials (fiber, coax, network equipment) is a plus
- Experience with inventory tracking systems or handheld scanners
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Forklift certification is a plus
Skills:
- Knowledge of fiber optic equipment and telecom infrastructure
- Basic computer proficiency (Excel, inventory software)
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
