Harvard Resource Solutions/Venteon is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for their manufacturing client in Dundee on a direct hire basis.

Duties- Support daily Shipping & Receiving operations while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Promote and enforce all company safety policies, quality standards, operational procedures, and best practices.
- Lead, train, coach, and support a team of approximately 10 warehouse associates.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in coordinating daily operations and resolving workflow or personnel issues.
- Serve as acting Warehouse Manager during absences or special assignments.
- Complete daily startup procedures for B1 and B2 operations as required.
- Perform daily warehouse functions alongside the team to ensure productivity goals are met.
- Provide coverage in all Shipping & Receiving areas, including bulk truck, railcar, B1, and B2 operations.
- Analyze operational issues, assist team members with problem-solving, and communicate concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
- Complete and review operational paperwork, reports, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ensure the efficient flow of inbound and outbound materials to support production schedules and customer requirements.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment through effective communication and leadership.
- Maintain dependable attendance and flexibility to support business needs.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse leadership or supervisory experience
. - Manufacturing or industrial warehouse experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in completing operational paperwork and reports accurately.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
. - Frequently walk, stand, bend, reach, climb stairs, and work for up to 12-hour shifts.
- Ability to climb ladders and reach overhead as needed.
- Ability to visually inspect products for quality and identify defects.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with elevated noise levels, dust, recyclable materials, and varying temperatures.
- Must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, steel-toe footwear, and high-visibility safety vest.
