Roberts Sinto is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Team in Grand Ledge, MI
What You Will Do
Warehouse Supervisor directs warehousing activities for Roberts Sinto Corporation by performing the following duties. All managers, supervisors, and employees are responsible for supporting company quality policies and initiatives as well as promoting and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
General
- Responsible for implementing 5s and maintaining in designated area.
- Establishes operational procedures for warehouse activities.
- Plans and directs activities relating to inventory control.
- Maintains cooperative relationships with internal departments, and both internal and external customers.
- Insures proper maintenance of Warehouse facility.
- Plan and directs Warehouse process improvement.
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Also directly supervises 5-9 non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
What We Want From You
- Associate's degree (A.
A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to five years year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough understanding of and skill in the use of the Symix system. Additional courses (classes, seminars) would include: management training.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
