Warehouse II

Cargill is seeking an experienced Warehouse II operative to join our team in the Food & Beverage Operations department. This role is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations, ensuring the safe and timely handling of goods, and supporting the sustainable growth of our global community. The ideal candidate will embrace the challenge of managing warehouse operations including inventory control, packaging, and distribution of goods, with a strong focus on safety and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency of warehouse activities.
• Maintain standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage systems.
• Prepare and submit regular reports and reviews of facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures, and purchases.
• Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy aimed at maximizing efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate and maintain fleets and equipment, including audits and work orders.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of all warehouse processes.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership capabilities and effective communication skills.
