We're looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Admin to join our Accounting team in Middle River, MD. This role supports all aspects of daily billing and payments of the final mile logistics operations, including managing driver documents, issuing invoices, maintaining insurance records, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
This is a high-volume, detail-focused support role. It's ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, likes a job with clear rhythms and real deadlines, and wants to build a foundation in accounting inside a fast-moving logistics environment.

Work Environment
- On-site office position
- High volume of inbound and outbound phone communication
- Frequent interaction with customers, drivers, operations personnel, and leadership teams
- Fast-paced logistics environment supporting daily delivery operations
A Quick Snapshot of the Role
- Reviewing daily driver paperwork to make sure every order is accounted for
- Entering driver pay data accurately and on time
- Distributing invoices and pay reports with supporting documentation to customers and delivery partners
- Uploading invoices and supporting documentation to customer billing portals
- Copying, sorting, and scanning driver paperwork
- Processing outgoing checks and packages
- Maintaining audit-ready, up-to-date contractor insurance certificates
- Filing check remittances and related paperwork and maintaining organized filing systems
- Communicating professionally with internal teams and external customers to resolve day-to-day issues

What You Bring (Core Experience)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office software
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas
- A willingness to learn and pitch in as part of a team
Preferred:
- Associate's degree, or equivalent years of accounting experience
- 1–3 years of accounting experience
- Prior billing experience
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains and/or the TMW order management system
- Experience in the logistics industry

- Supervisory Responsibility — This role does not have supervisory responsibility.
- Competencies — Communication, interpersonal relationship management, critical evaluation, and confidentiality.
- Physical Demands — Regularly requires sitting or standing for 8+ hours, repetitive hand and wrist motion, and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. Close and distance vision needed for data entry, reading, and screen work.
- Travel — No travel is expected for this position.
- Work Environment — Office environment using standard equipment (computers, scanners, copiers, phones); operates near a warehouse setting, which only trained personnel may access.
