Call Center Representative

Description We are looking for a service-focused Call Center Representative to support customers from our Maryland location within the Energy/Natural Resources industry. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and enjoys helping customers resolve questions efficiently. In this role, you will manage a steady flow of inbound calls, research account details across multiple systems, and create positive experiences through accurate and empathetic support.

Responsibilities:

- Respond to a large volume of incoming customer calls with professionalism, patience, and a solutions-oriented approach.

- Guide customers through questions related to services, account details, and general support needs while providing clear and accurate information.

- Use several computer programs at once to locate records, review relevant details, and complete tasks efficiently during live calls.

- Address customer concerns with empathy and sound judgment to help achieve timely and satisfactory resolutions.

- Record call details thoroughly and maintain up-to-date customer information within internal systems.

- Partner with coworkers and cross-functional teams when issues require additional research or escalation.

- Consistently work toward service goals and quality expectations established for the call center team.

- Keep current on company guidelines, service updates, and industry-related information to support accurate customer communication. Requirements - At least 1 year of recent experience in an inbound call center environment.

- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced setting.

- Ability to type at least 35 words per minute while accurately documenting interactions.

- Comfortable working across multiple systems and applications during customer conversations.

- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage priorities in a high-call-volume environment.

- Clear verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and customer-centered approach.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime when business needs require it.

- Bilingual Spanish and English communication skills are a plus. Talent Match®
