At ST Engineering MRAS, we are also rapidly augmenting our maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities leveraging the company’s expanded aircraft nacelle portfolio as well as it’s materials and processing expertise.
- Own and develop long‑term supplier agreement strategies, maximizing value and mitigating financial and operational risks.
- Lead complex contract negotiations with domestic and global suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable performance.
- Drive multi‑year cost‑out initiatives, competitive bid events, should‑cost analysis, and sourcing strategies that materially impact financial performance.
- Present commercial recommendations to senior leadership, supporting executive decision‑making through robust analytical and financial modeling.
- Direct cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Finance to execute supplier transitions and commercial strategies.
- Ensure contract, compliance, and technical documentation meet MRAS and ST Engineering standards.
- Mentor and guide commodity buyers, fostering a high‑performance sourcing team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience with 5+ years of supply chain, purchasing, finance, contracts, or related experience.
- Aerospace or industrial manufacturing industry experience highly preferred
- This position involves access to export‑controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization. A ‘U.S. Person,’ as defined by 22 C.F.R.
- 120.62, includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, individuals lawfully admitted for permanent residence (green card holders), and individuals granted asylum or refugee status in the United States. To be considered for this position, you must either be a U.S. Person or fall within a legally recognized export control exception or authorization. Characteristics
- Advanced Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
