Overview

Who YOU Are And What YOU Can Become The Production Control Materials Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring material availability and timely delivery to support production schedules. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise in inventory management systems, and the ability to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced aerospace environment. The role reports directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager.

At ST Engineering MRAS, we are a pioneer in the production and assembly of complex aerostructures, using the latest digital technologies and automation in composite design and manufacturing. We are expanding our maintenance, repair and overhaul capabilities and continuously developing our nacelle portfolio and related materials and processing expertise.

What You Will Do
  • Operational Leadership:
    Supervise Receiving and Stockroom teams, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and delivery standards.
  • Inventory Management:
    Oversee material flow and inventory transactions within SAP ERP, resolving discrepancies and optimizing processes.
  • Schedule Adherence:
    Monitor and prioritize inbound and outbound material to meet production and aftermarket commitments.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Implement process enhancements using Lean principles and Value Stream Mapping to improve efficiency.
  • Team Development:
    Coach and mentor union hourly staff, fostering a culture of accountability and performance excellence.
  • Reporting & Communication:
    Conduct daily shift meetings, provide updates on material status, and escalate recurring issues to leadership.
  • Administrative Oversight:
    Manage timekeeping, overtime tracking, and other personnel-related administrative tasks.
What You Must Bring To Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience (union environment preferred).
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems (2+ years required).
  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or warehousing operations is required.
  • Ability to perform in a dynamic, physically active environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and a consistent record of reliability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, aptitude for technology, and the stamina to drive process improvements through to completion, including the ability to lift up to 35 pounds and remain mobile throughout the workday.
  • Access to export-controlled technology requires U.S. Person status or government authorization (as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62).

Estimate salary range for this role: $63,500 to $93,000 per year. Base salary is one component of our Total Rewards package.
