We are seeking skilled Millwright to join our facilities and maintenance team. This role requires a variety of skills daily, including building, rigging, painting, welding, assisting with office moves, floor installation and repairs, equipment demos, unloading equipment and plant-wide supplies, moving, erecting, setting up, and assisting with preparing the campus for tours, large meetings, audits, and weather events. Seniority may determine shift assignments, and off-shift schedules are likely.

ST Engineering MRAS is expanding maintenance, repair and overhaul capabilities and aircraft nacelle portfolio, along with materials and processing expertise.
What You Will Do- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist with rigging, erecting building structures, and manufacturing equipment.
- Determine safe methods for dismantling machines to access suspected failed components, dismantle and remove parts using hand tools and safe rigging techniques.
- Assist with overhead crane inspections and repairs; capable of working at heights.
- Obtain replacement parts from facilities engineering, OEM, or supervisors; create dimensioned sketches for reverse engineering when needed.
- Use basic construction measurement tools to estimate material requirements and ensure rigging/furniture/equipment moves have proper clearance.
Checks work with precision measuring instruments such as leveling tools, overhead scales, and digital devices.
- Maintain the facility by supporting continuous improvement events, cleaning, painting, building, organizing, erecting storage cages, installing doors, windows, walls, and floors with a focus on safe work habits and 5S.
- Assist other trades by removing machine guarding and obstructions to enable preventive and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Study blueprints, sketches, specifications, and bill of materials to plan operations when erecting and fabricating components for storage of plating solutions, sodium nitrate tanks, cranes, hoists, stairs, racks, and floor supports. Install wall fittings and brackets for attaching heavy equipment or machinery.
- Assist with other maintenance duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma/GED equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience with rigging, carpentry, blue print reading, fabricating, sheet rock, drop ceilings, and industrial painting
- Ability to understand mechanical concepts and principles, construction and rigging mathematics, and use a wide variety of hand tools.
- Must use appropriate PPE and follow safe procedures; commit to safe repair practices.
- Experience with diagnostics and repair of building structures; ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Willingness and ability to instruct and assist less experienced mechanics.
- Physically demanding role with exposure to noise, hazards, and dirty environments; require protective gear, frequent standing, lifting heavy parts, and working in tight spaces; frequent physical effort to operate equipment and move loads.
- Safely operate forklifts and JLG lifts; maintain certifications as required.
- Ability to operate table saws, tile cutters, hammer drills, grinders, etc., and work to close tolerances as needed.
- Welding experience.
- Experience with repair of cranes or roll-up doors.
- Experience with vacuum and high-pressure air systems.
- Mechanical ability to diagnose issues and repair roll-up doors.
Salary for this role: $38.00 per hour + shift differential.
