Facilities Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility HVAC equipment and systems, performing plumbing tasks, and executing operational and preventive maintenance procedures for facilities and process equipment. This role involves collaboration with engineers to resolve issues and plan for acquiring or installing new equipment or systems.
The technician will also play a leadership role in training and supporting new technicians, as well as supporting waste management tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain facility/HVAC equipment and systems.
- Perform plumbing tasks around the facility.
- Execute operational and preventive maintenance procedures for facilities and process equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve issues or plan for acquiring/installing new equipment or systems.
- Install new facilities and process equipment.
- Assume a leadership role in training and supporting new technicians.
- Support waste management tasks.
- Monitor facility/HVAC systems and suggest modifications for improvement.
- Maintain facility data collection requirements and procedures.
- Identify nonconformances and participate in finding solutions.
- Ensure facilities maintenance work follows safety standards and conforms to specifications.
- Track and complete work orders within budgeted guidelines.
Essential
Skills:
- Expertise in plumbing and facilities maintenance.
- Experience in HVAC repair and maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial and commercial equipment.
- 6+ years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing/production environment.
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- Experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial and commercial equipment.
- Preferred plumbing experience.
- Commercial facilities experience.

Work Environment:
The position is based in a manufacturing/warehouse facility environment, operating Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.

This is a Contract position based out of Middle River, MD.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
