Job SummaryHolistic Health Group Kitchen Manager will be overseeing and participating in the manufacturing processes of all edible products. This includes (but is not limited to) prepping, cleaning, cooking, and operating industrial kitchen and mass production machinery.
Job Requirements- Have a clear understanding of recipes, food production and kitchen sanitation.
- Attention to detail – ability to monitor basic kitchen production in processes, organize and maintain production logs and ingredient lot numbers.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing, and challenging environment.
- Receive food items and ensure appropriate storage.
- Safely operate food processing equipment.
- Experience in a production‑heavy kitchen, kitchen management and chocolate/confection work a plus.
- Ability to follow cooking instructions with precision.
- Capable of following specific dosing instructions for a variety of edibles.
- Ensure that production is performed by following standard operating procedures.
- Weigh and store finished products ensuring that all information is recorded.
- Prepare processed food in accordance with recipes.
- Ensure production and processes are compliant with all internal rules, and regulations.
- Manage daily production of edible products using commercial machinery.
- Manage inventory of ingredients and other kitchen production supplies at the facility.
- Coordinate with vendors on replenishing inventory.
- Maintain a clean and safe production facility in compliance with Company standards and state and county health department requirements for Kitchen Production Facilities.
- Ensure personal hygiene is acceptable under Company standards.
- Sanitize production equipment and tools including workspace, production and packaging equipment, cookware, and appliances.
- Record cleaning and maintenance logs.
- Point of contact for regarding product production and creation of products.
- Ability to frequently lift and store product
- Ability to lead a team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical skills are a must, including measuring and monitoring key performance metrics, maximizing efficiencies and customer service levels
- Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills preferred
- Attention to detail, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
- Effective communication skills
- High school diploma/GED required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–3 years’ experience working in a cannabis retail setting (preferred)
- Must be 21 years of age minimum.
- Serve Safe experience preferred
- 1–2 years' production and/or food handling (preferred)
- The person in this position frequently communicates with customers and/or caregivers regarding medical conditions and symptoms. Must be able to exchange accurate information about product offerings.
- Frequently operates computer
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position when checking in customers or when operating the register.
- Constantly moves and transports dispensary products/totes up to 50 lbs. throughout the dispensary.
- Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand and walk as required to perform the duties associated with functioning as a dispensary agent.
