Position Description

Job Purpose

The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicle systems, including brakes, driveline, suspension, and performing routine maintenance such as oil changes and other services. We have a second/third shift available (hours are negotiable within 2 nd and 3 rd shift).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs general mechanical repairs;

• Conducts vehicle inspections for mechanical services;

• Repair gas and diesel engines, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic systems;

• Performs scheduled maintenance services on trucks and trailers;

• Performs other duties as required.

Position Requirements

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude; some mechanical experience, or technical training is preferred;

• Possess a strong work ethic and safety mindset;

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent;

• Basic tools required;

• Must be willing to stand and/or be mobile for long shifts;

• Possess a valid driver's license and medical card;

• Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
