Robotics Engineer – automation and control systems

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1, etc.)
• Must hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Must possess two (2) years of hands-on experience in robotics or automation engineering
• Must have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and/or Outlook)
• Must have familiarity with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio
• Must have practical experience in control systems and software development

• Three (3) years of experience in robotics or automation engineering
• Experience with CAD tools (e.g., Solid Works and Auto CAD) and simulation environments
• Experience with Kuka robot configuration and programming
• Experience with PLC programming
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages
• Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.)
• Experience in electrical panel design

• Design and implement automation systems, including mechanical components, control algorithms, and embedded software
• Oversee development efforts for subsystems or modules, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and control systems into robotic platforms and validate system performance
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, software, and plant engineers
• Conduct system-level testing, debugging, and optimization of automation systems
• Document engineering designs, testing procedures, and results for internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with field deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of automation systems
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and interns, offering technical guidance and support
