Voyager Space Exploration is seeking an Electrical Engineer. They are responsible for designing, testing, integrating, and operating spaceflight avionics and electrical hardware and supporting space services. This role plays a crucial part in advancing hardware on various space‑based programs, ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical systems for space applications.
Responsibilities Design & Development- Exhibits company Values and Behaviors and holds project and mission managers accountable to same.
- Responsible for traveling up to 30%, both foreign & domestic, to launch sites, customer facilities, and NASA/Government centers.
- Responsible for working a flexible schedule to support launch & integration operations (to include weekends and/or holidays).
- Prioritize workload to ensure timely development, testing, and delivery of flight and non‑flight (ground system) hardware.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, Quality Assurance, Flight Operations, Systems Verifications, and Safety throughout the development, manufacturing, inspection, testing, and qualification process for hardware.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field required.
- 3‑6 years of experience in electrical design and development.
- Experience in designing, testing, and integrating electrical systems for space applications.
- Experience in the Space Hardware industry preferred.
