Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Help with meal preparation and nutrition management.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises as needed.
  • Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum one (1) year of documented home care assistance and/or direct care experience at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility, etc., is preferred
  • Preferred:
    Successful completion of a nursing assistant or certified home health aide program
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Must have valid drivers license and auto insurance (proof of insurance is required)
  • Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
  • Ability to adhere to HIPAA and ensure confidentiality and security of the client's medical information
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
  • Up-to-date vaccinations including COVID-19, Influenza, and Hepatitis B
