Wire Harness Assembler
The Assembler is responsible for assembling components and sub-assemblies according to specifications and quality standards. This role involves reading and interpreting assembly instructions, blueprints, and engineering drawings, using hand tools and mechanical equipment, and ensuring that all assembled products meet quality requirements.
Duties- Assemble components to final configured product utilizing drawing and process instructions.
- Prepare cable/wire for assembly including stripping jacket/insulation, crimping contacts and potting connectors.
- Use hand tools, measuring equipment and fixtures for assembly.
- Verify quality and accuracy of product at required intervals during the process.
- MUST KNOW HOW TO USE, CALIBRATE, AND READ DIGITAL AND DIAL CALIPERS.
