Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg

Job Overview

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a contract position in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. The assignment begins 07/13/2026, lasts 13 weeks, and requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour flexible shifts.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and psychological health.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and monitor patient responses.
• Document all patient assessments, interventions, medications, treatments, and outcomes per hospital policies.
• Participate in daily rounds and communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on managing conditions and prepare them for discharge.
• Monitor post‑operative care, assessing for complications and providing necessary support.
• Ensure patient safety by following protocols for infection control and other safety measures.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies and provide immediate care for life‑threatening conditions.

• Minimum 2 years of Medical‑Surgical nursing experience.
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred.
• Unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Ohio.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Experience in a high‑acuity unit with mentoring/charge experience preferred.

Shift: Straight Nights, 7 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend and holiday. On‑call requirements as per unit needs, with the expectation to arrive within 1 hour if called in.
